Ready-made frames come in fixed sizes. Your photograph does not. Custom framing simply means the frame is built around your picture instead of your picture being trimmed to fit a frame.

The process, step by step
Step 1 — Send the photo
WhatsApp the image, or bring the print in. If it is a digital file, we check the resolution first and tell you the largest size it can be printed at without going soft. This one check saves most people from a blurry 30-inch print.
Step 2 — Choose moulding, mount and glass
We put three or four physical moulding samples next to your actual photo. Colours behave differently against different images, and no one can judge this from a catalogue.
Step 3 — Printing, if needed
We print on photo-grade paper or canvas depending on the finish you want. Matte for portraits, lustre for colour-heavy pictures, canvas for large wall pieces.
Step 4 — Cutting and assembly
Moulding is cut to your exact measurement, corners are joined and pinned, the mount is cut with a bevelled edge, and the back is sealed with dust tape. Hanging hardware is fitted before it leaves us.
Step 5 — Delivery or pickup
Pickup from Indira Nagar, delivery anywhere in Lucknow, or packed and couriered across India.

What it costs
Custom framing is priced on three inputs: the running length of moulding, the glass, and whether a mount and print are included. A rough guide:

Anti-glare glass adds roughly 20 to 30 percent. A mount adds a small amount and is almost always worth it.
Which photos are worth custom framing
- Wedding and engagement portraits — these are the ones people keep longest.
- Panoramic and non-standard crops that no ready-made frame fits.
- Old family photographs, especially ones being restored or reprinted.
- Certificates, degrees and awards for an office wall, where uniform sizing matters.
- Canvas and large statement pieces above a sofa or bed.
Two mistakes worth avoiding
Printing bigger than the file allows. A photo off WhatsApp is usually compressed. Send the original from the gallery or from the photographer, not a forwarded copy.
Skipping the mount on a portrait. It is the cheapest upgrade available and it changes how the whole piece reads.
